Florida Alumna Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting

Melody Tope Hainline '78 got an unexpected treat when she attended a local 100th anniversary celebration of the Girl Scouts of America in Jacksonville, FL!  She had the opportunity to "pose" with the organization's founder (and fellow Stuart Hall alumna!) Juliette Gordon Low!  The Girl Scouts of America has dubbed 2012 "The Year of the Girl" and are holding celebrations all over the country lauding the forward-thinking Ms. Low, who "believed that all girls should be given the opportunity to develop physically, mentally and spiritually."  Thank you so much, Melody, for sharing this priceless photo with us!
