Hello, and thank you for your interest in our Hunter McGuire Lower School. Located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia on a ten-acre campus in Verona, the Lower School serves families from Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro.

Our mission as a school community is to instill the highest levels of scholarship, integrity, leadership, and citizenship in each student. Your child will benefit from a curriculum that provides a unique integration of core educational values with extensive enrichment programs, providing for the development of a well-rounded child.
