The Naming of the Gray Upper School

Mrs. George M. Cochran announced the naming of the Gray Upper School. The Upper School is named for the family of Senator Elmon T. Gray, long-time supporter of the School. Senator Gray met his wife, Pamela Burnside Gray, Class of 1944, when she was a student at Stuart Hall and roommate of his sister, Flo Gray Tullidge, Class of 1945, a former president of the School's Board of Trustees. Sen. and Mrs. Gray's daughter, Kay, Stuart Hall graduate of the Class of 1968.
