Alumnae/i Weekend

Dear Wonderful Stuart Hall Alumnae/i,

In just five short months, we will be celebrating Alumnae/i Weekend at Stuart Hall! What a wonderful time to reconnect with your friends, recall priceless memories, and visit the wonderful School where you spent an important part of your life.

Why not call or email your friends today and begin making plans? You may also find more information about the area on the Staunton web site www.staunton.va.us (Many area hotels, motels, and B & Bs offer special discounted rates for Stuart Hall alums!)

We will begin the Weekend festivities with wine and hors d’oeuvres in Old Main. On Saturday, activities will include an update on the School, tours, the Alum Association meeting and luncheon, narrated tour of Staunton, and dinner at Worthington.  Sunday worship will be at Emmanuel. Registration materials will be mailed to reunion classes in the New Year, but we encourage anybody who wants to participate to return to Stuart Hall!

As most of you know, in order to continue providing an exceptional education for our students, we must balance our budget year after year. This is a fact that never changes, and to forget it is to put this school that we all love and treasure at risk. This year’s balanced budget is based on $3,362,233 in net tuition and $650,000 in unrestricted Annual Fund dollars. This is an attainable goal since we raised $608,000 last year.

With over 300 students enrolled, we are on target with tuition.  It is now imperative that we hit our Annual Fund goal in order to balance our budget and remain a viable institution. If we do not hit our goal, we do not balance our budget.  It is as simple as that.  Why not make your new or increased gift to the Annual Fund in honor of your Reunion?

Let us know if you have any questions! See you in April!

Best Wishes,
